Team Rocket are the primary antagonists of the Pokemon Anime. While they set out to steal Ash Ketchum's Pikachu and various other Pokémon in almost every episode, they always fail in the end. In more recent episodes, however, they still follow Ash, yet their focus has drifted towards other objectives such as Jessie's Pokémon Contest streak. They use various disguises, traps, and schemes to trick Ash's group into a false sense of security, and after being revealed, they give a poetic speech, known as their motto, that often changes slightly throughout each season.
Jessie and James' English names are taken from Jesse James, an American outlaw. James's Japanese name, Kojiro, is taken from Sasaki Kojirō, a prominent Japanese swordsman most famous for being killed by his rival, Miyamoto Musashi , the namesake of Jessie.
Today your challenge is to draw Jessie, James or Meowth ( or any combination ) for about 30mins!
The deadline for this challenge is Friday 30 August, 2013 at 2pm ET ( U.S.)!

DSC - CHEWBACCA - Wed. 20, 2020
Known to his friends as “Chewie”, Chewbacca was a legendary Wookiee from Kashyyyk and co-pilot of Han Solo’s ship, the Millennium Falcon. Son of Attichitcuk, husband of Mallatobuck and father of Lumpawaroo, Chewbacca carried the name of the ancient Wookie hero, the great Bacca. Chewbacca was a wise, sophisticated being of great strength and loyalty. As technologically savvy as the brightest Academy graduate, he was also a skilled mechanic.
So, today, in honor of that gentle giant, you are challenged to draw CHEWBACCA for about 30 minutes!

Though she was the first Inhuman character to ever appear in comics, she made her debut as the sole female member of the Frightful Four, a team of supervillains that opposed the heroic Fantastic Four. She was given the unique power of prehensile hair and believed herself to be the most powerful member of the Frightful Four. Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels was a Ruby-Spears cartoon series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions in the late 1970’s. The show centered on the mystery-solving adventures of the Teen Angels (Brenda, Dee Dee and Taffy--and their friend Captain Caveman (Cavey for short), a prehistoric caveman whom the girls discovered and thawed from a block of ice. A mixture of Charlie’s Angels and Scooby Doo, the series ran for about three seasons on ABC.

While it is difficult to pin-point one mother figure in comics that makes a great representative for the role mothers play in our lives, the one that seems to stick out the most in American comics is AUNT MAY. Batman's mother dies in his origin story. In some stories, Superman's parents are long dead. All of Captain America's relatives are rarely portrayed in flashback. Wolverine has no memories of his past. In fact so many characters are either orphans or were only raised by one parent that it's kind of odd.
