Bender "bending" Rodriguez is a Bending Unit 22 robot that was created for bending metal girders. Sometime afterward, he decided he had no reason to live when he found out that these girders were used to make suicide booths.
He first met Fry in the line to one of New New York City's suicide booths. They along with sewer mutant Leela ended up being hired to work at the Planet Express delivering company after Fry convinces Bender that he is free to choose his own path.
Bender is fueled by alcohol, which results as green house gasses. He can run on mineral oil and dark matter as well. Bender seems to have a hammer space in his chest cavity, as he can fit a number of things inside, like his CD player, His Gaydar, on some occasions Lucy Liu's head, weapons, and comes equipped with breathing masks inside, and his butt can be used as a flotation device. Bender can both operate in deep sea and in space. He has extendable (extendo-matic) and detachable limbs and a detachable head, which doubles as a tape recorder, and comes equipped with zooming vision (his eyes pop out) and he has a cheating device. Bender also appears to be extremely strong as in several episodes he has performed amazing feats of strength. In one, he bent an 'unbendable' girder, and in another, he picked up 'dark matter' which weighs more than 1000 suns.
Bender was created in Mom's Friendly Robot company in Mexico, around 2998. His serial number is 2716057, and his fellow Bending Unit, Flexo, has a similar number, as they are both the sums of two cubes.
Today, you are challenged to draw Bender for about half an hour!
The deadline of this challenge is Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 2pm ET (U.S.)!

Medusa first appeared in FANTASTIC FOUR #36 in 1964 and was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby. Though she was the first Inhuman character to ever appear in comics, she made her debut as the sole female member of the Frightful Four, a team of supervillains that opposed the heroic Fantastic Four. She was given the unique power of prehensile hair and believed herself to be the most powerful member of the Frightful Four. Later it was revealed that Medusa was actually a member of the Inhumans’ royal family, and that she had been brainwashed into becoming a villain after she had lost her memory.
During her adolescent years, Me

DSC - AUNT MAY - FRI. MAY 15, 2020
While it is difficult to pin-point one mother figure in comics that makes a great representative for the role mothers play in our lives, the one that seems to stick out the most in American comics is AUNT MAY. Batman's mother dies in his origin story. In some stories, Superman's parents are long dead. All of Captain America's relatives are rarely portrayed in flashback. Wolverine has no memories of his past. In fact so many characters are either orphans or were only raised by one parent that it's kind of odd.
But Aunt May is Peter Parker's rock. She is the parental figure who, regardless of Uncle Ben's wor
